Overview

Verathon® is looking for a Web Operations Developer I to become the newest member of our Corporate Marketing Team located in Bothell, WA. 

That role is central to deliver fast, secure, and reliable digital experiences. This position blends technical execution with operational excellence, supporting the infrastructure, performance, and continuous improvement of our global web platforms.

 

The Web Operations Developer I will work closely with Marketing, IT, and Development teams to implement site changes, manage digital tooling, monitor performance, and contribute to automation and scalability initiatives. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented opportunity ideal for someone with strong foundational development skills, interest in digital infrastructure, and a desire to work cross-functionally in a regulated, high-impact industry.

Responsibilities

• Implement website updates, content changes, and functionality using Drupal, Site Studio, and Acquia Cloud.
• Monitor website performance, accessibility, and availability—proactively resolving issues and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing and development teams to ensure site architecture supports business goals and content needs.
• Contribute to tagging and analytics setup using GA4, GSC, and GTM.
• Assist with technical SEO implementation and page speed optimization.
• Support global content deployment, localization, and QA of new features.
• Participate in automation efforts, including testing, deployment workflows, and infrastructure tasks as needed.
• Help maintain security, compliance, and platform documentation in line with industry standards (example, GDPR, CCPA).
• Stay current on emerging digital tools and operational best practices.

Qualifications

• This role is a hybrid position and in our Bothell office 3 days a week

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-2 year of experience in web development, operations, or platform support roles.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Drupal and tools like Acquia Site Studio.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web frameworks.
• Exposure to analytics and tagging platforms (GA4, GTM, GSC).
• Understanding of accessibility and SEO fundamentals.
• Basic familiarity with cloud hosting, performance monitoring, and/or automated deployment tools is a plus – Acquia Cloud PaaS experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical issues clearly.
• Interest in system-level thinking, digital operations, and automation.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package

  • Salary range - $81,198 - $115,700 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).
  • Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
