Overview

Your Business  

The Product Marketing area specializes in developing and executing downstream marketing plans, initiatives, promotions, and communications related to specific products and services. They define competitive market requirements and opportunities, and provide ongoing marketing support that ensures the competitiveness of existing products.

GlideScope®:

We developed the first video laryngoscope in 1999 and have since become the global market leader in video laryngoscope solutions. Today we offer a broad range of tools that include visualization systems, single-use and reusable blades, stylets, stats and video batons to support a variety of workflows and specialties.

BFlex™:

We introduced BFlex bronchoscopes in 2019. Since then, we have expanded the range of the BFlex product line to support a variety of patient types and procedures. BFlex single-use bronchoscopes combine the convenience and accessibility of single-use tools with the performance you expect from a reusable bronchoscope. Paired with GlideScope, BFlex delivers the industry’s first total airway solution.

Responsibilities

How You Will Add Value

  • New Product Introduction: Leads overall global product launch strategy and development of value proposition, messaging, and positioning. Oversees execution of the global launch and leads the launch core team. Instrumental team member that identifies and develops marketing collateral, sales kits, and sales training.
  • Programs & Campaigns: Responsible for leading all activities in the product lifecycle from launch to EOL. Leads programs to drive growth and improve profitability for their product(s). Develops value proposition, positioning, and messaging and collaborates with corporate marketing to execute campaigns.
  • Annual Marketing Planning: Leads and owns the annual marketing plan for their product(s). Reviews and contributes to the annual operating plan process for their specific area of responsibility.
  • Strategy: Responsible for product(s) strategy, makes recommendations for inclusion in strategic plan. Identifies and recommends geographic opportunities and manages product pricing, promotions, and product sales forecast. Leads end-of-life strategy and plans.
  • Field Support: Owns field training content for their responsible products. Presents/trains field on product and marketing content. Track key competitors to support internal communication and competitive sales efforts.
  • Customer Intimacy: Develops strong customer intimacy. With supervision, lead market research and competitive studies. Work effectively with network of clinical champions / key opinion leaders to support marketing efforts and help accelerate product adoption.

Qualifications

  • Organized and Disciplined Executor: You have demonstrated success in developing, planning, and executing a product lifecycle management strategy for new product launches in a regulated industry.
  • Analytical & Strategic Critical Thinker: You possess strong and analytical critical thinking skills to create business models and forecasts and to develop pricing strategies and competitive positionings.
  • Cross-functional Collaborator: You are a positive team player and are able to work in a cross functional, global environment in alignment of a shared vision and goals.

The Basics:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years product management/marketing experience in medical or high-tech B2B industry
  • 20-25% domestic and international travel required

Salary range – $100,200 - $140,000 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location.  If this position is filled outside the Seattle WA metro area, this salary range will vary depending on the specific hiring location.)

 

Full-time non-sales employees are eligible for Verathon’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
